“Today I would like to tell you about my experience attending an LA Lakers game, which is the last sports game I attended. I suppose I could begin by telling you about the type of sporting event. Well, in case you didn't know, the Lakers are a professional basketball team out of LA in the United States. Historically they have been a safe bet to reach the championship and sometimes win it all. However, at this stage of the season, they were neck and neck with another team, therefore, this game was very important to their standing in the conference. To elaborate more I’ll move on to my next point which is about the setting of the venue. I forgot what the arena is called, but it's massive and extremely loud with the home supporters chanting and yelling the entire time, even sometimes angrily at the referee. And now to address the food and drinks I consumed while watching the event. I hit a grand slam when I won a coupon at the concessions stand, so I ate like 3 hot dogs and had 2 soda pops. And to finish up and be brief, I'll tell you a little about why I attended this game in the US. Last summer, I was visiting relatives who live in California and they wanted to take me out on the town. They knew I was big into basketball, so they bought me a ticket. And the best part is, they won that game. Thank you, that's all I have to say.”
