Answer: The pie chart depicts states with the highest amount gun violence occurrences in 2012 and the line graph illustrates violence using a gun in four countries. Overall, Kansas and Florida have the most incidences involving guns, while the US has the highest quantity of gun related events.

With respect to the pie chart, Kansas and Florida had the highest occurrences of gun related activity with both roughly at 17,000, whereas California was below them with approximately 11,000. On the other hand, Oregon had the lowest number of gun violent cases with fewer than 3,500.

With regards to the line graph, the US started the period with far more gun related incidences than Columbia and New Zealand, with it being slightly more than 70,000. However, during the following eight years, there was a steady reduction of occurrences to hit a low around 50,000 before spiking to conclude the period at approximately 75,000. On the other hand, Columbia and New Zealand began with far fewer with the former being around 35,000 and the latter slightly above 20,000. Though, Columbia experienced a massive spoke lasting eight years, it finally decreased slightly to end the period nearly double where they started. Conversely, New Zealand’s rate fluctuated over the time frame, eventually finishing with more than 30,000.
