The introduction is meant to give the reader an introduction about the graph, chart, or diagram. It is normally made by paraphrasing the question. A good way to get a good score is by using the following phrase:
The (graph/table) (Illustrates/indicates/reveals/depicts)..
For Example:
The chart below gives information about academic qualifications held by students in America and China.
This Becomes:
The chart illustrates data regarding educational qualifications possessed by pupils in two different countries: America and China.
