Questions:

  1. Where is your hometown located?

  2. What is the most interesting part of your hometown?

  3. Has your hometown changed much since you were a child?

  4. Is it a good place for young people to live? Why or why not?

Example Response

1. Where is your hometown located? "I hail from a small coastal town in the northern part of Vietnam, about two hours from the capital city. It’s nestled right along the shoreline, so we have beautiful ocean views."

2. What is the most interesting part of your hometown? "Without a doubt, it’s the central market. It’s incredibly vibrant and chaotic in the best way possible. You can find everything there, from fresh seafood caught that morning to handmade crafts. It’s really the heartbeat of the town."

3. Has your hometown changed much since you were a child? "Yes, it has changed dramatically. When I was young, it was a quiet fishing village with dirt roads. Now, it has transformed into a bustling tourist destination with high-rise hotels and modern infrastructure. Sometimes I miss the peace and quiet of the old days."

4. Is it a good place for young people to live? Why or why not? "To be honest, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, the lifestyle is very relaxed and the scenery is stunning. However, in terms of career prospects, it’s quite limited. Most young people eventually move to bigger cities to pursue better job opportunities."
